Indy 500

I've been to an event from every pro sport I can think of, and there is nothing that compares to going to see a car race. Nothing. I went to the Brickyard 400 (the race now known as The Allstate 400 at the Brickyard) in 2007 and was completely amazed. First of all, Indianapolis Motor Speedway is something to behold in itself. It is the highest-capacity sports facility in the world. That's right, some 400,000 people come to watch the Indy 500, the largest single-day sporting event in the world. Compare that to Fenway Park, capacity 37,400, or the new Yankee Stadium, 52,325, or even Beaver Stadium (where Penn State plays football) 107,282. Bottom line: you should go to a race at the Indy Motor Speedway at some point. It truly is an epic experience.
