No LeBron V. Carmelo This Year, But...

I was disappointed by the fact that we won't be seeing LeBron and Carmelo face off in the Finals this year. But there is a serious upside to this for Knicks fans. LeBron will probably be less likely to stay with Cleveland now. And we might just be able to woo him to New York. It would reinvigorate so many old rivalries that were lost on the irrelevance of Cleveland as a basketball town (New York - LA, New York - Boston). I wonder how Q-Rich would feel about giving up his number (he would have no choice). I know I'm getting way ahead of myself but, if the chips fall where they may, the Knicks might have numbers 22-24 all retired...

LeBron would be silly to stay in Cleveland. Even though Mike Brown was coach of the year, he was clearly without a plan and severely outmatched by Stan van Gundy in the series against the Magic. LeBron James, meet Mike D'Antoni.
