Twitter Plug

For those not yet on Twitter I strongly encourage you to join. If numbers are any indication, from February '08 to February '09 Twitter experienced a growth in users equivalent to 1382%. In case you weren't sure: that's ridiculous. I see the advent of the Twitter age as somewhat similar to that of Gmail. Increasing numbers of people signing up (or being invited, as early protocol required, remember?) but there were a significant number of holdouts as well (hotmail, yahoo, AOL even). And then the holdouts realized how amazing Gmail was, and the deed was done quickly thereafter. Well Twitter is similar in many respects. People love to hate it because of its immense popularity (and apparent corniness). But when you get inside the door you see that there really isn't anything corny at all. Just very cool. If you have a smartphone its essential (or will be very soon). Just considered yourselves warned, I wouldn't want you to be the last ones in the door. Follow me @: patrickthurber.
